1. Introduction

Welcome to Biz Connects ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Biz Connects website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies referenced herein. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Biz Connects is a business listing directory designed to connect users with local businesses and services.

2. User Accounts

  • 2.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service.
  • 2.2 Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
  • 2.3 Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms.

3. Business Listings

  • 3.1 Accuracy of Information: Businesses listing on the Service must ensure that all information provided (including contact details, services, and operational hours) is accurate and kept up-to-date.
  • 3.2 Right to Review: Biz Connects reserves the right to review, modify, or remove any listing that violates our content policies or is deemed misleading or inaccurate.
  • 3.3 Claiming a Listing: If you claim a business listing, you warrant that you are an authorized representative of that business and have the authority to bind the business to these Terms.

4. User Content & Reviews

  • 4.1 Definition: "User Content" means any text, images, data, or other information that you post, upload, publish, or transmit through the Service, including business reviews and comments.
  • 4.2 Content Standards: You agree not to post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes on the rights of others. Reviews must be based on genuine, personal experience.
  • 4.3 License: By submitting User Content, you grant Biz Connects a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the content in connection with the Service.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

The Service may offer paid subscription plans (e.g., Premium and Featured Listings).

  • 5.1 Billing: All fees are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and are non-refundable, except as expressly stated otherwise in our cancellation policy.
  • 5.2 Changes: Biz Connects reserves the right to change the subscription fees or introduce new charges upon thirty (30) days notice.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Biz Connects makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any listing or information provided on the Service. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user or listed business.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Houston, Texas.
